Chapter 20 – Rainbow Blood Garment

Being looked at with such innocent eyes, Ye Ling couldn’t help but feel a bit embarrassed.

Holding Blood Phantom’s pale little hand, the two continued to their next hunting spot.

To become stronger and gain admission to the top Spirit Tamer Academy, Ye Ling had to work harder.

If he slacked off just because he had a system, that would be the real problem.

From then on, hunting became much easier.

When faced with too many Skeleton Sergeants, Ye Ling would reluctantly avoid them.

After all, with Blood Phantom’s current strength, she couldn’t handle being surrounded by numerous Skeleton Sergeants.

Even with the Blood Fury and Bloodthirsty skills, it was impossible.

Ye Ling now targeted smaller groups of Skeleton Sergeants.

Usually, there were only a few Skeleton Sergeants, along with some Skeleton Soldiers.

Fighting them was incredibly easy, almost enjoyable.

After a few more hours, Ye Ling finally completed a task assigned by the system.

“Task completed: Eliminate Skeleton Sergeants (20/20), gained 50% experience progress, one set of exclusive clothing for Blood Phantom.”

At this point, before the 50% progress boost, Blood Phantom’s experience was already around 30%.

With the additional 50%, it instantly jumped to 80%.

Just a bit more effort, and she could reach First Rank, Fourth Level.

For the first time, Ye Ling realized how easy leveling up could be.

Compared to others, he and his Spiritual Pet leveled up at an astonishing speed.

It was so fast it was almost unbelievable!

If people knew, their first reaction would probably be disbelief.

Such an incredible rate of gaining experience was truly extraordinary.

Not only did he gain 50% experience, but he also received a set of exclusive clothing for Blood Phantom.

Ye Ling eagerly took the exclusive clothing out of the system space.

A blood-red Rainbow Blood Garment appeared in Ye Ling’s hands.

Blood Phantom’s Exclusive Rainbow Blood Garment: Effectively resists certain physical and magical attacks, self-cleaning, indestructible (exclusive equipment, only usable by Blood Phantom).

Reading the description, Ye Ling couldn’t help but feel like he was in an online game.

It truly lived up to being Blood Phantom’s exclusive Rainbow Blood Garment, usable only by her.

If anyone else tried, they wouldn’t be able to wear it.

The effects were excellent, resisting certain physical and magical attacks, indestructible, and self-cleaning.

Given Blood Phantom’s violent combat style, no amount of clothing would be enough for her.

After several hours of battle, Blood Phantom’s clothes were already in tatters.

Ye Ling could vaguely see the pale skin beneath the torn fabric, clearly exposed.

She was his Spiritual Pet; it would be too embarrassing if she were exposed in public.

Now, with this garment, that problem would be solved.

At least he wouldn’t have to worry about Blood Phantom’s combat style constantly ruining her clothes.

Blood Phantom was Ye Ling’s Spiritual Pet; he couldn’t let her be exposed to others.

If anyone was to see, it should be him, not others!

This garment was simply perfect.

Ye Ling handed the Rainbow Blood Garment to Blood Phantom, instructing her to put it on.

Unfortunately, despite having gained some intelligence, Blood Phantom could fight but couldn’t dress herself.

She stood there blankly, holding the garment, without making any move.

Helpless, Ye Ling had to do it himself.

But while changing her clothes, Ye Ling cautiously observed his surroundings.

After ensuring there were no enemies nearby, Ye Ling dressed Blood Phantom in the Rainbow Blood Garment.

Seeing her fair body standing before him, Ye Ling took a deep breath.

A warm sensation began to flow out.

Ye Ling hurriedly dressed Blood Phantom, tying the garment’s straps.

The warm sensation had already flowed out.

Ye Ling quickly wiped it away; as expected, bright red blood was very noticeable.

He tilted his head back to stop the nosebleed.

Seeing Ye Ling’s actions, Blood Phantom didn’t understand what he was doing.

But she mimicked him, tilting her head back as well.

Occasionally wrinkling her nose, she looked very human-like.

Ye Ling noticed Blood Phantom mimicking his actions.

“Hehe o(∩_∩)o!”

He couldn’t help but laugh.

Such a human-like Spiritual Pet made Ye Ling wonder if she was really a pet or a person like him.

But Blood Phantom was indeed a Spiritual Pet, not human, fundamentally different from humans.

After a while, Ye Ling finally stopped his nosebleed.

Now, Ye Ling had no time to waste.

He grabbed Blood Phantom and headed to the next hunting spot.

Before reaching his goal, Ye Ling had no plans to rest.

At least before nightfall, he had to gather the remaining experience.

To let Blood Phantom level up again, so both he and Blood Phantom could reach First Level, Fourth Rank.
