“The beast seems to have figured out my archery pattern. The intelligence of a Transforming Realm Monster Beast is indeed not to be underestimated. If this continues, unless I increase the frequency of my shots, it will soon close in on me. Facing it head-on, I stand no chance, even with the Heavenly Silkworm Giant Whale Soft Armor, I can’t completely block the Silver Moon Beast’s attacks.”
Terra Su’s combat instincts were incredibly sharp, allowing him to quickly grasp the direction of the battle.
Looking at the dwindling number of arrows in his quiver, increasing the shooting frequency was impossible. If he ran out of arrows, his bow would become useless.
Calculating the time, Gu Qianyin and Princess Mia had already been gone for the time it takes a stick of incense to burn. At their speed, they should have covered a considerable distance by now.
With this thought, Terra Su put away his bow and turned to leave, no longer interested in battling the Silver Moon Beast.
Seeing Terra Su flee, the Silver Moon Beast immediately gave chase.
Despite Terra Su using the Wolf Shadow Six Transformations, the speed of a Transforming Realm level three Monster Beast was still slightly faster, closing the distance between them quickly.
Terra Su activated the “Heavenly Eye,” scanning the surroundings to find the best escape route.
To his dismay, he saw Gu Qianyin and Princess Mia had stopped ahead, waiting for him.
“Why haven’t you left? Why are you still here waiting for me?”
Terra Su didn’t know whether to scold the two women or be touched. “Didn’t I tell you both to run?”
“But the princess and I were worried about you. Facing a Transforming Realm level three Monster Beast alone is too dangerous,” Gu Qianyin’s voice quivered, a rare display of emotion.
Seeing her like this, Terra Su knew scolding her was pointless.
With a sigh, Terra Su stopped, ready to face the enemy again.
“Master Su, in the area a hundred meters ahead of you, don’t step into it. Use the method of crossing through the air to come over here, and don’t let your body touch the ground,” Princess Mia’s voice, clear as a nightingale, echoed in the darkness.
Terra Su was taken aback. Could it be that these two women had set a trap for the Silver Moon Beast while waiting for him?
Without hesitation, Terra Su followed Princess Mia’s instructions. With a powerful leap, he soared into the air, using the nearby trees for support, and landed on the large rock where the two women stood.
“Terra Su, we’ve laid Bewildering Powder all over this area for the Silver Moon Beast. I refuse to believe it won’t fall for it again,” Gu Qianyin said, stubbornly biting her lip as she watched the approaching Silver Moon Beast.
“It’s useless,” Terra Su shook his head. “I thought you had a better plan for the Silver Moon Beast. It’s not stupid. It was fooled by your Bewildering Powder once, it will be cautious this time.”
As he spoke, the Silver Moon Beast reached the area with the Bewildering Powder. Just as it was about to step into the zone, it stopped, sniffed cautiously, then covered its nose with a front paw, moving towards the trio on three legs.
“How is that possible?”
Gu Qianyin gasped, shocked at the Silver Moon Beast’s intelligence in recognizing the trap.
“I told you, it wouldn’t fall for it,” Terra Su said, grabbing the two women, one in each hand, and tossing them onto a nearby tree. “This time, don’t hesitate, run. I’ll catch up with you.”
The two women, frustrated by the Silver Moon Beast’s easy evasion of their trap, wanted to run as Terra Su instructed, but their feet seemed rooted to the spot, eyes filled with worry as they watched Terra Su.
Terra Su picked up his bow again, facing the Silver Moon Beast.
With only a few arrows left, he had to take a gamble. If he succeeded, he might escape this predicament.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Terra Su fired three consecutive arrows aimed at the Silver Moon Beast’s face.
Although the Silver Moon Beast was fast, it was currently covering its nose with one paw, leaving only three legs for movement, significantly slowing it down.
Seeing the three arrows coming, the Silver Moon Beast had to rear up again, one paw covering its nose, the other swatting away the arrows.
Even so, it only managed to deflect two arrows, the third arrow heading straight for its nose.
Reluctantly, the Silver Moon Beast had to lower the paw covering its nose to swat away the arrow.
Thwack!
The third arrow was knocked down.
By this time, Terra Su had drawn all remaining arrows, shooting them all at once.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
Seven or eight arrows flew at the Silver Moon Beast from different angles.
The intensity and density of the attack forced the Silver Moon Beast to stop, focusing entirely on defense.
At this moment, the Silver Moon Beast was near the large rock where Terra Su stood.
This was the moment Terra Su had been waiting for, the best opportunity he had calculated.
This rock was where Princess Mia and Gu Qianyin had stood, the area with the most Bewildering Powder.
With seven or eight arrows flying at it, the Silver Moon Beast had to either endure the hits or use all its strength to deflect them.
If it used all its strength to fight, it would inevitably inhale a lot of air, which meant inhaling a lot of Bewildering Powder.
Everything was calculated meticulously.
Terra Su held his breath, waiting for the Silver Moon Beast to fall into the trap.
The Silver Moon Beast, seeing the arrows coming, roared in fury, a silver glow surrounding it like a shield.
Clang! Clang!
Several arrows hit the Silver Moon Beast, bouncing off as if hitting metal.
The Silver Moon Beast had withstood Terra Su’s arrows with its body.
Its eyes were bloodshot, staring at the remaining arrows, but it stayed a distance from the rock, aware of the Bewildering Powder nearby.
Just as the Silver Moon Beast focused on the remaining arrows, Terra Su unexpectedly unleashed the “Great Desolation Blood Moon,” two fierce beams shooting towards the Silver Moon Beast’s eyes.
