“Miss Jin, are you here to see Grandmaster Bruce Sun?”
Manager Li asked respectfully, knowing that Jin Ling’er had been learning alchemy from Bruce Sun. Her visit to the Clear Elixir Pavilion was likely to find him.
“Yes.”
Jin Ling’er nodded casually and then ignored Manager Li, looking curiously at Terra Su. “Terra Su, what are you doing here? When did you arrive in Anyang City?”
At this moment, Terra Su recognized Jin Ling’er and smiled faintly, “It’s you.”
This was the same Jin Ling’er who had come with the three judges from the Alchemy Guild on the day the Clear River City Alchemy Guild was promoted to a second-grade guild.
Unexpectedly, they met again here.
“Hehe, so you remember me. I didn’t expect you to actually come to Anyang City.”
Jin Ling’er smiled, bouncing over to Terra Su’s side and looking at him with wide eyes. “You haven’t answered me yet. What are you doing at the Clear Elixir Pavilion?”
“I’m here to see Grandmaster Bruce Sun.”
Terra Su replied offhandedly.
“Oh, so you’re here to see my teacher.”
Jin Ling’er said happily, “That’s perfect, I’m here to see him too. Wait here, I’ll go get him. I’m sure he’ll be very pleased to know you’re here!”
With that, Jin Ling’er dashed inside.
Meanwhile, Manager Li’s mouth hung open, his face a colorful palette of disbelief and absurdity.
Could it be that this young man really knew Grandmaster Bruce Sun?

After a while, Bruce Sun came out with Jin Ling’er.

The maid, observing the situation, quickly said, “Grandmaster Bruce Sun, earlier, Young Master Terra Su said he knew you and asked me to inform you, but Manager Li stopped him…”
The maid ignored Manager Li’s frantic signals and recounted the events in full, including Manager Li’s claim that if Terra Su knew Bruce Sun, he would drink dirty water, without hiding anything.
After hearing this, Bruce Sun’s face darkened, and he coldly glanced at Manager Li, “How dare you! Master Su is a distinguished guest of mine, and this is how you treat him? In my opinion, you shouldn’t be a manager anymore; return to being a servant.”
“Moreover, since you said you’d drink that dirty water, then do it. Drink every last drop!” Bruce Sun pointed to the bucket of dirty water used for mopping.
Manager Li’s face twitched as he looked at the bucket filled with floating grime, wishing he could slap himself.
Why did he have to speak so carelessly to Terra Su? Now he had to suffer the consequences of his own actions.
With a mournful face, Manager Li reluctantly picked up the bucket and began to gulp down the dirty water.
Terra Su had no interest in watching Manager Li drink dirty water. He turned to Bruce Sun and said, “Grandmaster Sun, shall we go inside?”
“Please, Master Su.” Bruce Sun quickly said, leading Terra Su inside, with Jin Ling’er following.
In Bruce Sun’s alchemy room, Terra Su had already put the earlier incident behind him and explained the purpose of his visit to the Clear Elixir Pavilion.
Upon hearing that Terra Su was there to purchase rare herbs, Bruce Sun didn’t hesitate to order the maid to bring out the herbs Terra Su needed. To make amends, he even waived the cost of all the herbs Terra Su was purchasing.
Terra Su didn’t refuse, as the set of herbs for the Three-Turn Rejuvenation Elixir was indeed expensive. He thought for a moment and said, “How about this, when I start refining the elixir, Grandmaster Sun can watch. It might help improve your alchemy skills.”
If anyone else had said this, Bruce Sun would have slapped them out the door. But coming from Terra Su, it was entirely convincing and made Bruce Sun overjoyed.

The room was left with only Terra Su and Jin Ling’er. Jin Ling’er curiously studied Terra Su, blinking her large eyes, and asked, “Are you really from Clear River City? Why do I feel like you’re not?”
“Let’s just say I am.” Terra Su smiled. He wasn’t from Clear River City, but explaining would be too much trouble, so he didn’t bother.
Jin Ling’er propped her chin on her hand and said, “Where did you learn alchemy? How come your skills are so advanced?”
