Terra Su chuckled and said, “Just wait and see.”
Gu Qianyin blinked her long eyelashes, puzzled by his words.
“Everyone, let’s drink,” the Crown Prince announced, observing everything but choosing not to intervene. He knew Terra Su wasn’t someone who would swallow his pride without reason; there must be a purpose behind his actions.
With that, the Crown Prince continued to organize the feast, encouraging everyone to eat and drink.
Terra Su’s sudden “concession” led to a few sneers from those present. No one spoke to him or tried to engage him in conversation.
Owen Situ kept turning his head, baring his teeth in provocation at Terra Su. If it weren’t for the inconvenience of acting at the Crown Prince’s banquet, Owen would have already taught Terra Su a lesson once they left the hall.
“Master, it’s him!”
At that moment, a voice filled with resentment echoed.
Ma Rongtian’s figure unexpectedly appeared at the entrance of the banquet hall, pointing inside.
Behind Ma Rongtian, a figure in a long robe walked in slowly. The man appeared to be in his forties, cultured and refined, with his hands behind his back, yet exuding an undeniable aura of authority.
Grandmaster Huang!
Everyone was shocked.
No one expected Ma Rongtian to bring his master, Grandmaster Huang, after leaving!
No wonder Ma Rongtian had left with a vicious warning for Terra Su to wait; he had gone to fetch reinforcements.
With Grandmaster Huang’s presence, even the Crown Prince couldn’t intervene in this matter.
“Kid, you dared to lay hands on me earlier; now you’re dead!”
Ma Rongtian glared fiercely at the spot where Terra Su had been sitting, eager to teach him a lesson.
Before Grandmaster Huang could approach, Ma Rongtian had already leaped forward, his figure flickering as he reached the spot where Terra Su had been sitting.
Owen Situ was sitting there now, oblivious to what was happening, thinking it had nothing to do with him as he continued sipping his soup.
Bang!
Ma Rongtian swiftly grabbed Owen Situ by the back of his neck and forcefully pressed his face into the soup bowl in front of him.
Crash!
The bowl shattered, and Ma Rongtian’s force was so great that even the table cracked. Hot soup, broken porcelain, and steaming food spilled all over Owen Situ, leaving him in a pitiful state.
A disaster out of nowhere, truly a disaster out of nowhere.
Owen Situ never expected that while he was peacefully drinking soup, someone would suddenly attack him. Caught off guard, he had no time to defend himself and suffered the consequences.
“Kid, I told you to be arrogant, and you still dare to be arrogant?” Ma Rongtian, still unsatisfied, grabbed Owen Situ by the neck and slammed him onto the table repeatedly.
“You bastard!”
Owen Situ was utterly enraged, breaking free from Ma Rongtian’s grip and leaping up.
With all his strength, he backhanded Ma Rongtian with a powerful slap, “Who the hell are you to hit me?”
Bang!
Owen Situ’s slap was forceful and filled with all his anger and strength, sending Ma Rongtian flying, spinning in the air before crashing into a wall in the hall.
When Ma Rongtian slid down from the wall, he was barely conscious, with half of his face swollen and his mouth full of blood.
A slap from a Transforming Realm expert in a fit of rage was not something an ordinary person could easily withstand.
At this point, the crowd finally realized that Ma Rongtian had hit the wrong person. He had brought his master, Grandmaster Huang, thinking he had someone to back him up to teach Terra Su a lesson, but in his excitement, he had attacked Owen Situ by mistake!
Owen Situ, covered in soup and wine, looked disheveled and furious, glaring murderously at Ma Rongtian, “Who sent you? Do you have a death wish for daring to attack me?”
Only then did Ma Rongtian see Owen Situ clearly, stunned and ignoring the burning pain on his face, he asked, “Who are you?”
Pfft!
Owen Situ nearly spat out blood. This guy attacked him and now asks who he is?
However, Owen Situ, being quick-witted, quickly realized the situation. Suppressing his inner rage, he asked, “Were you trying to hit the person who was originally sitting here?”
Ma Rongtian nodded blankly.
Owen Situ almost spat out blood again, realizing he had been set up by Terra Su. No wonder Terra Su had so readily given up his seat earlier; he had anticipated everything!
That damned Terra Su!
He had been humiliated in front of everyone for no reason!
“Terra Su!” Owen Situ roared, “You’re dead, I swear I’ll kill you today!”
Terra Su?
Ma Rongtian was also taken aback, realizing that both he and Owen Situ had been tricked by Terra Su. Terra Su’s scheme to pit them against each other was executed brilliantly.
Ma Rongtian was furious, “Terra Su!”
How dare Terra Su play them both for fools!
The two of them glared viciously at Terra Su, who was not far away.
Terra Su sat calmly, in stark contrast to the disheveled Owen Situ and Ma Rongtian, looking clean and unruffled.
Under their murderous gazes, Terra Su remained unperturbed, saying, “If you two want to fight, how could I stop you?”
Sophistry, pure sophistry.
Ma Rongtian took a deep breath and sneered, “Kid, it’s one thing to trick us, but do you know who my master is? You’re courting death by involving him.”
After all, Grandmaster Huang was the reinforcements Ma Rongtian had brought. If Ma Rongtian hadn’t been so eager to act himself, it would have been Grandmaster Huang who punished the wrong person.
In that sense, Terra Su had indeed tricked Grandmaster Huang as well.
The hall fell silent, everyone aware of Grandmaster Huang’s status in Anyang City. If Grandmaster Huang wanted to do something, even the Crown Prince couldn’t intervene.
So now, what should Terra Su do?
His earlier move of killing two birds with one stone was indeed brilliant, but he had simultaneously offended both Grandmaster Huang and the Situ Family. Grandmaster Huang was formidable, and the Situ Family was one of the top ten powers in Anyang City. Neither was an easy opponent.
Could it be that Terra Su acted on impulse without considering the consequences?
