Chapter 180 – Tianyue Academy Revisited

“R-Return, Young Master Su, yes, Madam Jiang, in her youth, was a concubine from a branch of the Wang Family,” the servant stammered. This wasn’t really a secret; anyone in the Jiang and Wang families knew it.

Terra Su also knew that in his past life, when the Jiang Family was annihilated, besides himself and Sophia Xu, there was one other survivor—Madam Jiang.

“In my past life, the Wang Family suddenly moved away, and in this life, Madam Jiang had a secret meeting with a mysterious black-clothed person before dying under strange circumstances. These two events must be connected.”

“Perhaps the Wang Family’s move in the past life was also related to Madam Jiang and this black-clothed person.”

“Moreover, Otto Jiang and Robert Jiang’s obsession with the Patriarch’s Seal seems suspicious. Could it be related to this as well?”

Terra Su pondered deeply but couldn’t piece together any clear clues for the moment.

He could only set the matter aside for now. After all, Madam Jiang was already dead, and there were no useful leads to pursue.

At that moment, Terra Su returned to South Jiang Manor, now the Jiang Family’s residence.

However, before he even got close, he frowned, catching a faint scent of blood in the air.

“Something’s wrong!”

A shadow of worry flashed across Terra Su’s mind. He immediately increased his speed, rushing back to the Jiang Family as fast as he could.

When he arrived at the Jiang Family’s entrance, he saw a crowd gathered.

In the center of the dense crowd stood two groups of people.

One group was led by Sophia Xu, accompanied by Gu Qianyin, Sean Feng, and several high-ranking members of the Jiang Family.

The other group consisted of a retinue surrounding an old man in a green robe.

The old man looked about fifty, with a ruddy complexion and skin as smooth as a baby’s. His eyes shone brightly, and his aura was restrained but powerful, clearly marking him as a formidable cultivator.

Terra Su’s gaze swept over Sophia Xu, Gu Qianyin, and Sean Feng, noticing that all three had broken through to the ninth level of the Condensing Origin Realm. He nodded to himself, knowing that their breakthroughs were due to those attribute-less Spirit Stones.

“So, this is South Jiang Manor?” The old man in the green robe looked disdainfully at Sophia Xu and the others.

“Yes, I am the Patriarch of South Jiang Manor. What business do you have here?” Sophia Xu frowned and asked.

“Kneel!”

The old man’s voice boomed like thunder.

“Who are you, and why should I kneel to you?” Sophia Xu retorted.

“Hmph!” The old man sneered, his eyes flashing with cold killing intent.

“You crippled my student, and you still ask who I am?” the old man roared.

“Who is your student?” Sophia Xu asked suspiciously.

“He has the surname Ye!”

The old man only said three words.

But these three words were enough to make Sophia Xu’s face change repeatedly.

Miles Ye!

This old man was actually Miles Ye’s teacher!

Could it be that this old man was from Tianyue Academy?

“This is going to be interesting. Miles Ye’s teacher from Tianyue Academy has come to seek justice for him. It looks like Terra Su is in big trouble today.”

“What a pity. Terra Su just wiped out the Wang Family and North Jiang Manor, and South Jiang Manor was about to see better days. Now this happens.”

The crowd murmured, feeling a bit sorry for South Jiang Manor.

Originally, South Jiang Manor was about to become the top family in Clear River City, but offending a teacher from Tianyue Academy could make survival difficult.

“Kneel, and tell me exactly who crippled Miles Ye. If you can’t do that, don’t blame me for a massacre here. It’s surprising that such a small Clear River City has so many ninth-level Condensing Origin Realm experts.”

The old man in the green robe spoke disdainfully as he looked at Sophia Xu and the others. Ninth-level Condensing Origin Realm experts were still ants in his eyes.

“I will never submit!”

Sophia Xu’s eyes were sharp, and she spoke resolutely.

Hmph!

The old man’s face darkened, and a wave of pressure emanated from him like a tidal wave.

Instantly, the surrounding Martial Practitioners felt their breathing become difficult, their blood churning, and they swayed on their feet, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

“He’s a Transforming Realm expert!”

The crowd was shocked. This old man was a Transforming Realm expert, incredibly powerful.

The gap between the Condensing Origin Realm and the Transforming Realm was like a chasm. A Transforming Realm expert could easily crush hundreds of Condensing Origin Realm Martial Practitioners with a flick of a finger.

Now that a Transforming Realm expert had come to trouble Terra Su, it was almost certain that Terra Su wouldn’t survive.

Facing the pressure of a Transforming Realm expert, Sophia Xu also felt her blood churning and her vision darkening. However, she stubbornly stood her ground, not moving an inch.

“Stubborn fool!”

The old man snorted coldly, extremely displeased, and lifted his foot to kick Sophia Xu in the chest.

At that moment, a small stone flew through the air like a shooting star, striking the old man’s ankle bone hard.

Ugh!

The old man grunted, took a step back, and withdrew his leg.

“Who!”

The old man was instantly furious, looking around to find who had thrown the stone.

“Little Terra!”

Sophia Xu spotted a familiar figure and immediately showed a look of joy.

“Aunt, it’s me.”

Terra Su walked over with large strides.

“Little Terra, they said you wiped out the Wang Family and North Jiang Manor. Is it true?”

Sophia Xu had heard the news as soon as she got up, and it shocked her. But before she could send someone to verify it, the old man in the green robe had arrived.

“It’s true,” Terra Su nodded.

Although she had expected it, hearing Terra Su confirm it still made Sophia Xu take a deep breath. Terra Su doing this alone was truly shocking and hard to believe.

Who could have imagined that the two once-dominant families of Clear River City would be wiped out by a single young man?

Terra Su’s strength constantly shook everyone’s nerves. Looking back, all those who opposed Terra Su seemed to have met bad ends.

For Sophia Xu, this news was even more bittersweet. She had once sincerely treated Otto Jiang and Robert Jiang as family, but they had repeatedly stabbed her in the back. Now, it was finally over.

“Don’t do such dangerous things alone in the future,” Sophia Xu said softly.

“Alright, Aunt.”

Terra Su smiled and stood beside Sophia Xu, looking at the old man in the green robe.

“What a pity. South Jiang Manor was about to dominate Clear River City, but now a teacher from Tianyue Academy has come.”

“Yes, he’s here to avenge Miles Ye. South Jiang Manor is doomed.”

The crowd continued to murmur.

“Boy, do you have a death wish?”

The old man glared at Terra Su, clearly annoyed. If it weren’t for his important task, he would have already killed the boy who dared to throw a stone at him.

“Tell me, who crippled my student, Miles Ye?”

The old man spoke impatiently, “If you don’t tell me, all of you will die.”

“It was me.”

Terra Su looked calmly at the old man and uttered these two words.
