Chapter 125 – Must reconcile with Terra Su immediately

At the scene, the members of the Jiang Family were puzzled to see Terra Su ignoring the pile of gold and silver treasures and instead showing interest in a heap of scrap metal.

But it wasn’t their place to question Terra Su’s actions.

“Little Terra, are you interested in these things?” Sophia Xu was also surprised. To her, this looked like a pile of neglected bronze artifacts with little value.

“Yes, Auntie. Please have someone send this pile of bronze artifacts to my courtyard,” Terra Su nodded, glancing at the North Jiang Manor engulfed in flames, and then casually walked home with Sophia Xu.

The sudden fire at the North Jiang Manor shocked the entire Clear River City.

For a time, the whole city was in an uproar. Whether they were from noble families or common folk, everyone was talking about it.

After all, the Jiang Family had stood in Clear River City for hundreds of years and was one of the top three families. Even though they split into the North and South Jiang Manors, their overall strength hadn’t diminished much. Yet, someone had burned the North Jiang Manor to the ground, which was both shocking and unbelievable.

It was known that the North Jiang Manor had a Condensing Origin Realm seventh-level expert and a sixth-level expert. To burn down the North Jiang Manor right under their noses, there were very few in Clear River City who could accomplish such a feat.

Of course, some people had their own suspicions. After all, there weren’t many in Clear River City who had enmity with the North Jiang Manor.

“This must be Terra Su’s doing,” Steven Ye, the Patriarch of the Ye Family, said with a somber expression.

Months ago, he would never have imagined that a mere fifteen-year-old boy would become the Ye Family’s greatest threat. Terra Su’s growth was astonishingly rapid, and his momentum was unstoppable. Having such an enemy was like having a thorn in the Ye Family’s side.

“Patriarch,” suggested an Elder of the Ye Family, “why don’t we make peace with Terra Su?”

“Make peace?” Steven Ye’s face twitched. He had considered this option, but the thought of Miles Ye pained him. Miles was the family’s most promising genius, their hope for future glory beyond Clear River City.

But Terra Su had crippled Miles, shattering Steven’s greatest hope. Who knew how many years it would take to cultivate another genius like Miles?

“Patriarch,” another Elder advised, “though it’s painful that Miles was crippled, as long as our family’s foundation remains, we can eventually nurture another genius like him.”

“Yes, Patriarch. Temporarily avoiding Terra Su’s edge doesn’t mean we’re afraid of him. It’s a strategy to bide our time. Let him fight with Otto Jiang, Robert Jiang, and the Wang Family. When they’re all weakened, we can reap the benefits,” the Elders urged.

“Sigh!” Steven Ye sighed deeply, his face full of reluctance. “It seems we have no other choice.”

Rationally, Steven knew that making peace with Terra Su was the best option. But emotionally, the thought of humbling himself before Terra Su was unbearable.

Soon, an explosive piece of news spread through the streets of Clear River City!

Steven Ye, the Patriarch of the Ye Family, personally led the Ye Family’s high-ranking members to the South Jiang Manor, bearing gifts to make peace with Terra Su!

Everyone knew that since Terra Su had crippled Miles Ye on the duel platform in the south of the city, the relationship between the Ye Family and Terra Su had been tense. On the night of the Jiang Family’s split, Steven Ye had even led people to the Jiang Family, demanding to take Terra Su away for punishment to avenge Miles.

But now, the Ye Family had reversed their stance, making peace with Terra Su. Even Steven Ye humbled himself, personally bringing gifts to seek reconciliation.

This could only mean one thing—

The Ye Family greatly feared Terra Su!

A fifteen-year-old boy had forced one of the top three families in Clear River City to bow down. It was nothing short of a miracle.

While Master Dust had some influence in this, it wasn’t the main reason. Master Dust’s face alone wouldn’t be enough to make the Ye Family humble themselves and offer gifts to Terra Su.

The Ye Family feared Terra Su himself. The power Terra Su had shown was far more than that of a mere genius boy.

If he were just a genius boy, how could he have burned down the North Jiang Manor?

If he were just a genius boy, why would a Condensing Origin Realm seventh-level expert willingly obey him?

All these factors made those with insight reevaluate Terra Su.

This Terra Su was far from simple!

In a deserted courtyard in the slums of Clear River City.

“That damned Terra Su!” A furious roar echoed from the courtyard, followed by the sound of things being smashed. From the volume of the noise, it was clear the person was in a state of extreme rage.

“Big Brother, that little bastard Terra Su dared to burn down the North Jiang Manor. He must be tired of living!” Robert Jiang, with his arm wrapped in thick bandages, panted heavily, his eyes bloodshot. The North Jiang Manor was their painstakingly built foundation, the Jiang Family’s legacy of hundreds of years, and Terra Su had burned it down. Not to mention the treasures in the manor’s vault, all of which had now fallen into Terra Su and the South Jiang Manor’s hands.

Just thinking about it made Robert feel like his chest was on fire. He wanted to rush to the South Jiang Manor and kill Terra Su with a single slash.

“Calm down, Third Brother,” Otto Jiang said with a grim face. Though he also wanted to kill Terra Su, he knew it wasn’t the right time. The South Jiang Manor would be on guard against them, and they wouldn’t gain anything by attacking now.

Fortunately, some key treasures weren’t stored in the North Jiang Manor but were carried with them when they fled. Otherwise, they would be penniless now.

Though they were temporarily staying here, it wasn’t a long-term solution. They had many family members with them and urgently needed a place to rebuild the North Jiang Manor.

“Big Brother, what should we do now?” Robert Jiang, after his rage subsided, felt lost. He wanted revenge on Terra Su but didn’t know how.

“Don’t worry. Terra Su will pay tenfold for his actions!” Otto Jiang’s eyes flashed with a cold light, as if he had made a decision.

The next day.

Another explosive piece of news spread through Clear River City.

The North Jiang Manor and the Wang Family had formed an alliance!
