“Leave? Haha… Human, if I could leave, I wouldn’t still be here,” the Celestial Fire sneered coldly. “If you plan to spout nonsense, you better shut up now.”
Terra Su, however, responded leisurely, “I just want to say, if you sign a soul contract with me and serve me, I can take you out of this Dragon Elephant Locking Prison Array. Otherwise, on your own, it’s indeed impossible to leave.”
“What did you say?”
The Celestial Fire roared in sudden fury, “You don’t know your limits! How dare you shamelessly propose a soul contract with me? You, a mere Condensing Origin Realm human, are dreaming!”
“Unwilling? Then stay here for hundreds, even thousands of years!” Terra Su said calmly. “The fact that I reached the center of this array proves I can take you out. On your own, you have no chance!”
“Human, how dare you speak to me like this,” the Celestial Fire roared, and countless fireballs fell from its body, as if an Alchemy Furnace had been overturned in mid-air. Streams of fire poured down, forming a massive ring of fire centered around Terra Su.
The fire ring kept tightening, the flames approaching Terra Su, turning the area within a meter of him into a sea of fire.
“Human, angering me means death!” the Celestial Fire growled. Although it had been trapped by the array for countless years and was not at its peak, dealing with a mere Condensing Origin Realm Martial Practitioner was more than enough.
Yet, Terra Su stood calmly, facing the terrifying sea of fire without even blinking. “If you kill me, you’ll regret it.”
“Regret? I will never regret it!” the Celestial Fire roared. “But this human might have a point. Am I to stay in this wretched place forever?”
“If I don’t want to stay here, this human is my only hope. No one else has entered this valley for years; he’s the first.”
The Celestial Fire tried to control its rage. “This human cannot be killed… cannot be killed…”
“But even if I let you subdue me, you absolutely cannot succeed!” the Celestial Fire said coldly. Though it was not at its peak, it was still a Celestial Fire, and its soul strength was far beyond that of a Condensing Origin Realm human.
“Is that so? Then let’s try!” Terra Su responded with a faint smile.
“Human, you said it. If you die here, don’t blame me!” the Celestial Fire said coldly. If this human couldn’t withstand its soul strength, it wouldn’t expect him to take it out of the array.
After speaking, the Celestial Fire shrank to the size of a fist and darted into Terra Su’s body.
In the Celestial Fire’s view, Terra Su’s cultivation level was so weak that he couldn’t possibly withstand its soul strength. His soul would surely be crushed under its soul pressure.
But just as it thought this, it felt a massive soul force, like a mountain, crashing down on its soul.
“Impossible! How can your soul force be so strong?” the Celestial Fire roared in disbelief. “How can a Condensing Origin Realm Martial Practitioner have such powerful soul force?”
Terra Su didn’t answer, merely enveloping the Celestial Fire’s soul with his own. In truth, although his cultivation level was only at the Condensing Origin Realm, by fully utilizing the Great Desolation Soul Refining Scripture, he could temporarily elevate his soul force to an extremely high level, though only for a brief moment.
However, this brief moment was enough to suppress the Celestial Fire, which had been weakened by the array for so many years.
“Stop, stop, wait!” the Celestial Fire screamed. Although it knew it needed Terra Su to leave, it didn’t want to be subdued so quickly. It was, after all, a dignified Celestial Fire…
But Terra Su ignored it. Whatever needed to be discussed could wait until after it was subdued.
The Celestial Fire struggled desperately but couldn’t resist Terra Su’s overwhelming soul force and soon lost consciousness.
A quarter of an hour later.
Terra Su successfully subdued the Celestial Fire, binding its soul to his own, preventing it from escaping.
Then, Terra Su released the Celestial Fire from his body.
As soon as the Celestial Fire regained consciousness, it understood its current predicament. It had essentially “recognized” Terra Su as its master. If it harbored any rebellious thoughts, Terra Su could make it suffer a fate worse than death with a single thought.
Though unwilling, this outcome wasn’t necessarily bad for it. At least, according to Terra Su’s promise, it could leave this wretched place.
However, the Celestial Fire still couldn’t understand why Terra Su’s soul was so much stronger than it had imagined.
“Human, who exactly are you? To be able to subdue my soul, you must not be an ordinary person!” the Celestial Fire said.
Terra Su smiled faintly. “Before I answer, shouldn’t you change how you address me?”
“This…” The Celestial Fire hesitated for a long time, then reluctantly said, “M-Master.”
As a Celestial Fire, it had never thought it would one day recognize a Condensing Origin Realm Martial Practitioner as its master.
Terra Su chuckled. “No need to be so reluctant. You’ll understand in time that recognizing me as your master is your fortune!”
“Master?” The Celestial Fire’s tone changed abruptly. “You call yourself ‘Master’? Could it be… are you the Alchemy Emperor?”
The Celestial Fire’s tone was filled with disbelief and a hint of fear. But it also seemed to make sense. If not the Alchemy Emperor, how could he possess such powerful soul force?
But if he was the Alchemy Emperor, how could he be a fifteen-year-old boy? The Celestial Fire was filled with questions.
“No need to ask so much. Now, your task is to obey me,” Terra Su said. “I can tell you now, I won’t directly absorb you.”
“You won’t absorb me?” the Celestial Fire’s tone was joyful. One of the main reasons it resisted so fiercely was the fear of being absorbed by Terra Su’s Alchemy Flame. If that happened, Terra Su’s Alchemy Flame might ascend to Heaven Grade, but its soul would be annihilated, dissipating into nothingness.
