Chapter 80 – Open fire

Noah Ji wanted to inject more power.

However, this supernatural power wasn’t without limits. Or rather, it wasn’t the power itself that had limits, but the warrior’s own strength.

Only by reaching a higher realm and having a stronger body could one fully unleash the potential of this power.

Twenty points was the limit for a Blood Condensation Realm warrior.

Any more, and he feared it would backfire.

Outside the Chen Clan, a group of Liu Family warriors were rapidly approaching under the cover of night.

Leading the group was an Innate Realm warrior, with Liu Zishan by his side.

“Great-uncle, should we sneak in and catch them off guard?”

Despite his confidence in their strength, as the Clan Chief, he needed to minimize casualties among his people. The current clan wasn’t as strong as it once was; every member was crucial.

The elder waved his hand dismissively.

“No need. The Chen Clan has already detected us.”

Liu Zishan was surprised. Though he wasn’t an Innate Realm warrior, he hadn’t sensed any Chen Clan warriors along the way. How did the Chen Clan discover them?

But since his great-uncle said so, he must be right.

Liu Zishan stopped pondering and urged his people to move quickly.

So what if they were discovered?

The gap in strength between the two clans was insurmountable.

With their accelerated pace, they soon arrived outside the Chen Clan’s territory.

The Chen Clan was brightly lit, and their warriors were on high alert, clearly prepared for a battle.

At the forefront stood Ethan Chen and several Blood Condensation Realm warriors, but Oliver Chen was not among them.

Seeing the approaching, murderous group, Ethan’s expression grew even more solemn.

With just a glance, he spotted five or six late-stage Blood Condensation Realm warriors.

Including the other Blood Condensation Realm warriors, there were about ten in total.

This strength could easily overwhelm the Chen Clan.

What shocked Ethan even more was the white-haired elder standing beside Liu Zishan.

The elder stood there flawlessly, exuding an aura of physical perfection.

Innate Realm!

Only an Innate Realm warrior could have such a presence.

The elder’s appearance made many Chen Clan members hold their breath, realizing this battle might be even more dangerous than their last conflict with the Li Family.

But in a life-and-death battle, there was no room for retreat.

Behind them were their loved ones; even if they died, they would not hesitate!

“Clan Chief Chen, long time no see.”

Liu Zishan scanned the Chen Clan warriors, feeling confident as he sensed no significant threat.

If these were all the Chen Clan had, they wouldn’t even need his great-uncle to act tonight.

But considering the Chen Clan’s totem, he didn’t regret bringing his great-uncle out of seclusion.

Even a lion uses its full strength to catch a rabbit.

“Liu Zishan, what do you want?”

“Hand over the natural Blood Spring, and I might spare your clan. Otherwise, death!”

Liu Zishan, mobilizing his entire clan, no longer hid his intentions, his eyes filled with killing intent.

“Hmph, the Blood Spring is beneath our Ancestral Hall. If you have the guts, come and take it.”

Ethan retorted without hesitation.

Many clan members were puzzled upon hearing about the natural Blood Spring, as they had never heard of it before. But when Ethan mentioned it was beneath the Ancestral Hall, the Chen Clan warriors understood.

The Ancestral Hall housed the Sacred Tree, the clan totem.

Asking for the Blood Spring was akin to asking for the Sacred Tree. What more explanation was needed?

“Alright, we’ve found it. Let’s move.”

“I’ll destroy that Sacred Tree. The rest of you, handle them!”

The elder spoke calmly.

“Got it!”

Liu Zishan didn’t hesitate. In a battle between clans, there was no time to waste.

The earlier conversation was just to let his great-uncle locate the Sacred Tree, avoiding unnecessary complications.

With that, the elder leaped into the air, heading straight for the Chen Clan’s Ancestral Hall.

Beside him, Liu Zishan activated his Qi and Blood, shouting:

“Kill!”

Facing the onslaught of warriors and the elder about to bypass the crowd, Ethan realized their intent and shouted urgently:

“Stop him!”

The Sacred Tree was the clan’s hope. If the elder destroyed it, the clan would be doomed!

They had to stop him at all costs!

In the next moment, the two clans clashed fiercely.

But the significant disparity in strength caused many clan members to be injured in the initial skirmish.

The two months of recuperation hadn’t been enough for the clan to make a qualitative leap in strength, especially against such a formidable enemy.

In the sky, the elder seemed to use some combat skill, walking through the air as if on solid ground, unstoppable.

“Bang!”

With a loud noise and a splash of blood, two Blood Condensation Realm warriors were instantly repelled by Mason Chen, whose aura had surged.

After repelling the two, Mason immediately used the newly learned Shadow Step to intercept the elder.

“Hmm?”

“A master?”

Sensing Mason’s sudden surge in aura and his realm rising to late-stage Blood Condensation Realm, the elder’s calm eyes showed a hint of surprise.

But after a closer look, the elder was no longer puzzled, only sneering:

“So, you’ve used some power-boosting combat skill.”

Unfortunately, such skills often had severe side effects. With just a glance, the elder saw that Mason’s kidneys were gone!

And to think a late-stage Blood Condensation Realm warrior could stop him was underestimating an Innate Realm warrior.

Mason, stepping with Shadow Step, reached the elder and unleashed a newly learned move from the Grand Ancestor Long Fist.

Using the Five Organs Ascension Technique to burst his kidneys, Mason’s realm had risen from mid-stage to late-stage Blood Condensation Realm. Despite the pain, he felt a surge in power, brimming with confidence.

But against his full-force attack, the elder casually countered with a punch.

In the next moment, Mason spat blood and was sent flying!

Seeing Mason fall with one strike, the elder lost interest. He had wanted to see what the Chen Clan had to offer, which was why he paused. Otherwise, with his strength, Mason couldn’t have stopped him!

With Mason using the Five Organs Ascension Technique first, Pandora’s box was opened.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

The sounds were accompanied by splashes of blood.

All clan members who had learned the Five Organs Ascension Technique and couldn’t hold on burst one of their organs, experiencing newfound power.

Without Ethan’s restraint, all the clan’s warriors had learned this self-destructive combat skill.

Even Ethan, the Clan Chief, had reviewed it carefully two days ago.

After using this self-destructive skill, the Chen Clan warriors’ aura surged.
