Chapter 50 – By the real online bullies

“Seven Seconds?”

Chen Dagou instinctively turned his head towards the window when he heard someone call his online name.

A young man stood coldly by the window, staring at him, which made Chen Dagou gasp in shock.

He lived on the 13th floor. How could someone be standing outside his window?

In the middle of the night, could it be a ghost?

He felt a chill run down his spine, but the next moment he realized this young man wasn’t a ghost.

Because the young man, right in front of him, ripped open the security bars on the window with his bare hands and jumped inside.

“Who… who are you? I’m warning you, breaking into someone’s home is illegal!”

“Giggle.”

Hearing the other accuse him of breaking the law, Ye Shuangluo couldn’t help but laugh.

“You, who invade others’ privacy every day, are talking to me about the law? Isn’t that funny?”

Chen Dagou was stunned for a moment, his mind racing. This person knew he invaded others’ privacy and even called him by his online name.

Could it be someone he offended online coming to settle the score?

But looking at the young man exuding a killing aura, he couldn’t recall ever meeting him.

“Don’t recognize me? I’m Ye Shuangluo, online name Jia He.

It shouldn’t be, right? You’ve investigated my ancestors for eighteen generations, how could you not recognize me?”

Ye Shuangluo?

Chen Dagou found it hard to believe. He had just checked the other party’s information a few hours ago and had seen his photo.

But the difference between the photo and the person in front of him was too great!

The Ye Shuangluo in the photo had a gloomy demeanor, someone who would blend into a crowd and be easily overlooked.

The young man standing before him, however, was full of killing aura, with such a strong presence that he could be picked out even in a crowd of thousands.

Chen Dagou wanted to say something, but Ye Shuangluo raised his hand.

A terrifying wind pressure instantly pinned him to the ground.

“Mm, it’s more comfortable to talk like this.”

Ye Shuangluo sat in the swivel chair, looking down at Chen Dagou who was struggling on the floor.

“Ugh, mm!”

Chen Dagou’s face was pressed firmly against the floor, no matter how he struggled, he couldn’t get up.

Ye Shuangluo didn’t stop him, watching with interest as he struggled like a worm.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

After struggling in vain, Chen Dagou started slapping the floor with his palms, gasping for breath.

Seeing this, Ye Shuangluo slightly reduced the wind pressure on him, allowing him to at least lift his head.

“I have just one question. Do you want to live or die?”

“Cough… I want to live, I want to live, please!”

Chen Dagou roared desperately, not wanting to experience that near-suffocation feeling again.

“Since you want to live, I’ll give you a chance. Call out everyone in your little group.

As long as you listen to me, I’ll consider giving you a chance to live.”

Chen Dagou raised his head abruptly, understanding what the young man wanted, but he couldn’t, and didn’t dare, to stop him.

In the small room, under the dim light, the young man wore a kind smile.

But at this moment, that smile looked like the devil’s to Chen Dagou.

He trembled as he went to the computer, sending a group message to all members of their small group to meet at the usual place.

After doing all this, he turned back uneasily, looking at the young man standing behind him and asked:

“Is this… enough?”

“Of course. Now, take me to your group’s usual place.”

Chen Dagou shivered. He didn’t know to what extent this young man would go.

But the young man had already given him a show of force upon arrival, and taking him there would surely lead to something bad.

But he had no choice. He knew that by doing this, he was harming others, but better them than him.

After getting the information from Seven Seconds, Ye Shuangluo was surprised to find that they were in the same city.

Since it was such a coincidence, he decided to pay a visit.

As expected, finding Seven Seconds naturally led him to the others.

When Chen Dagou and Ye Shuangluo arrived at a villa in the suburbs, two women had already arrived before them.

As soon as they got out of the car, the two women walked over.

“Hey, Seven Seconds, why did you bring a handsome young man? His skin is so fair and tender, I just want to take a bite.”

“You little flirt, didn’t Jiang Yi satisfy you? Coming out here to flirt.

Don’t be afraid, handsome boy, come to sister, sister will protect you.”

Chen Dagou broke into a cold sweat as he watched the two women tease the young man beside him.

(You two stupid women, if you want to die, don’t drag me into it!)

Fortunately, Ye Shuangluo remained calm, seemingly unaffected by the teasing.

Chen Dagou quickly stepped forward to separate Ye Shuangluo from the two women, asking:

“Are you the only ones here? Where are the others?”

Hearing Chen Dagou’s question, the two women rolled their eyes simultaneously, complaining:

“You have the nerve to ask, everyone has been here for a while, just waiting for you. You called us out, but you’re the last to arrive.”

Chen Dagou laughed awkwardly, leading Ye Shuangluo and the two women into the villa.

Inside the villa, more than a dozen people had already gathered. Seeing Chen Dagou come in, they all started to complain.

“Seven Seconds, what’s going on? Why are you so late?”

“Yeah, yeah, being late is one thing, but bringing a kid along?”

“Come on, can you be quicker next time?”

“Haha, Chu Mo, have you tried it? Is Seven Seconds really that quick?”

Chen Dagou ignored them, turning around and pleading:

“I did as you asked, can I…”

Splat!

Chen Dagou’s head flew high, his face full of pleading in his last moment of life.

The once noisy villa fell silent instantly.

They stared in shock at the corpse on the ground.

“Ahhh! Murder!”

The two women who had teased Ye Shuangluo at the door screamed, Chen Dagou’s blood splattered all over them.

They tried to run, to get away from Ye Shuangluo.

Crack!

The two women trying to escape were instantly frozen into ice sculptures.

Ye Shuangluo nonchalantly flicked his hand, his gaze sweeping over everyone present.

“Ming Le, Qi, Chu Mo, Yi Ran, Xia Yi, Qing Qian, Xiao Lu…”

He called out the online names of everyone present, almost everyone was there, except for a few who were too afraid to show up.

“Who are you?”

The first to question him was a fierce-looking woman. Even though Ye Shuangluo had just killed someone in front of everyone, she still glared at him fiercely.

In response to her question, Ye Shuangluo casually flicked his hand, and the woman was brought before him by the Wind Element.

The woman struggled desperately, but an invisible hand gripped her neck, suspending her in mid-air.

This scene undoubtedly shocked everyone present.

“Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Ye Shuangluo, the orphan you guys opened the box on and insulted for two hours.”

A man in a red trench coat mustered up the courage to ask, “What do you want?”

This time, the tone was much softer, no longer questioning but asking.

So Ye Shuangluo didn’t pull him over, instead, he replied with a smile.

“What do you think?”

The young man was clearly smiling, but everyone felt a chill.

“You’re breaking the law!”

“Hahaha.”

Ye Shuangluo laughed heartily, as if he had heard something funny.

“If I remember correctly, your actions are also illegal, invading others’ privacy.

Essentially, we’re no different, so let’s not have the pot calling the kettle black.

A great man once said, the lower class obeys the rules, the middle class uses the rules, and the upper class makes the rules.”

“That’s bullshit, which great man said that?”

Crack!

Ye Shuangluo raised his hand, summoning an ice blade that pierced the heart of the person who questioned him.

“The only great man I’ve ever admired, my father, said that.

He also told me that rules are made to restrain the weak. Besides, who said I’m killing people? I’m killing insects.”

Crack! Crack! Crack!

As he spoke, he created several more ice spikes, piercing through the hearts of several people.
